1. Why doesn't my African Violet Flower?
There are 2 main reasons for your violet not flowers:
- The African violet could be having too many leaves therefore all the
energy is going to the leaves and not enough to the centre of the plant.
Which is where the energy is require for your plant to flower, therefore
you should remove the outer leaves.
- You would need to give the plant tepid warm water to encourage it
to flower, with a mixture of nutrients.
2. How often should I water them?
The reason we have the wick system is to control the amount of water
that the plant need, it is only the wick that will be in the water therefore
the plant will only take the amount that it will require. When you see
that the Maxi well or the Reservoir is getting low that is when you need
to top it up with water mixed with the nutrients.
3. What should I feed it?
We use Valley Violet Nutrients to feed the plant it encourages to flower
and you would haven a much healthier African violet.
4. How often should I feed it?
Dilute the Valley Violet Nutrients by using 2 liters of water and one
cap full of the nutrients giving it a good mix and pouring it to the Maxi
Well or your reservoir and you more or less are feeding your plant every
time you are watering it. |
